Label Less So You See Context

Desk with notebook, pen, and laptop open to charts

Many chart reviews we receive start with every second bar tagged: doji, spinning top, piercing, dark cloud. The analyst is not careless—they are anxious about missing a classic name. The cost is clarity.

A practical constraint used in Personal Candle Chart Review: name at most three candles per session you trade, and only when location plus follow-through justify the label. Archive the rest as unnamed price. If a archived bar becomes relevant again, bring it back deliberately.

Fewer labels do not mean fewer ideas. They mean each remaining name carries enough weight that confirmation—or failure—actually changes your plan.
